CORE COMPETENCY #1: ETHICAL PRACTICE (Series 1)
Yeah, I know you know all about CORE competency #1 and the ethics of our profession. You know about confidentiality, and our professionalism, and of course you keep the lines clear that we are not therapists or consultants. You might even be one of those few coaches that actually knows our professional CORE values and even holds them deeply in your coaching. But you may not be aware of the critical problems and derailers that get in the way of holding your ethics deeply and strongly in your coaching. In fact, there is something In you that is making your coaching ethics so much harder. Something that you learned long ago that is making your coaching so much more difficult and not nearly as powerful as you are here to be. That's what this whole series is about, and that is what this first lesson is all about.
It's OK if you haven’t gotten all the details of our ethics memorized (99% of the coaches out there haven’t either), because we will begin with a brief overview so you can get up to speed. We will hit the critical components, deepen some of the markers quickly and easily, and then dive deep.

First off, we will introduce (or refresh) the three CORE principles of masterful coaching. I'm not going to tell you what they are right now. If you know them, you know them and this will grow them stronger within you. If you don't know them, you most definitely need to know them. Which is why we begin by to immersing ourselves deeply in these CORE principles that will absolutely magnify this CORE competency and your ETHICS. But wait, there's more. We are going to bring in the first of many deep and powerful advanced Level 3 MCC tools, techniques, models, tips and tricks that will expand what you think you know about our ethics and how they show up in your coaching and sink them in even deeper.
