Biography
My name is Kathy and I love learning and expanding upon my passion, which is helping people strive for their next level potential. Guiding people through difficult times in their life is one of my greatest joys, as well as, connecting with and encouraging others to see their potential.
After many years in Human Resources, one of my favorite opportunities was coaching other people. I have seen and experienced stagnation and frustration within the workplace. Many people who feel stagnate are stuck at a crossroad without knowing which direction to take and without knowing how to create effective and long-lasting change. I learned through a lot of research, hard work, and coaching training that defeat and frustration arise when your current leadership style is no longer serving you and is not in alignment with who you really are. I serve as a guide to encourage and inspire others to move past their current obstacles into creating a personal success formula that honors their core values.
My path as a Life and Leadership Development Coach began from my own life experiences of fighting silent battles of being stuck in a pattern of “I’m fine, everything is fine.” When in reality everything was not fine. I wanted stronger connections and a genuine leadership style that was not only encouraging and inspiring others but also honoring my core values. I was stuck going through the day-to-day motions masking and avoiding my feelings to cover up the hurt and pain of being stuck in a company with a one size fits all demanding leadership style. This led me to the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), where I graduated as a Certified Professional Coach and an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner.
